The cottage location offers opportunities to safely swim, surf, fish, watch birds, whales and dolphins, and to take interesting walks on two beaches, the Harrington littoral rainforest, the Cattai Wetlands and Crowdy Bay National Park.

It takes only a few minutes to walk to Crowdy Head Surf Club and to Sunsets Kiosk on the beach. It is in close proximity to the larger centres of Forster, Taree and Port Macquarie and only five km from Harrington village. Harrington boasts two hotels, a golf club and a bowling club, a range of restaurants and coffee shops, as well as an IGA supermarket and other speciality shops.

Originally built as a fisherman’s cottage and recently renovated throughout to include quality furnishings and fittings, this boutique holiday getaway retains the charm of the yesteryear, yet delivers all the comforts and conveniences of the modern-day lifestyle. Eagle’s Nest cottage surrounded by beautiful gardens, offers ideal accommodation for those seeking stunning views, absolute privacy, peace and comfort.
Eagle’s Nest offers flexible accommodation options for two to six people. Two separate self-contained living areas, can be configured to accommodate two or up to six people. The property can only be rented for one family or group to ensure full privacy at any one time. Both areas are connected by a stunning spiral staircase.

For a group of six people, Eagle’s Nest cottage offers three bedrooms, two having queen sized beds and the third two king singles. There are two kitchens, two bathrooms and toilets, two dining rooms, two living rooms and a separate laundry. There are two spacious jarrah timber front decks shaded by beautiful sails, overlooking the beach, ocean and mountains. There is also a lovely private cabana attached to the lower front deck with barbeque facilities, perfect for some quiet contemplation sipping a glass of champagne whilst enjoying the spectacular views! There is a rear timber deck with a large barbeque which looks up to the Crowdy Head Lighthouse and State Park.


There is adequate off-road parking for vehicles but not for boats and caravans. Please note garage is unavailable.

A $700 security deposit is required on each booking.

Please note guests are responsible for providing their own linen for this property (sheets, pillowcases, beach towels, bath towels and tea towels).

    Very Good Stay for the Rattletrap beach races. Turned out to be a very wet few days so we had a battle keeping the place clean due to the water and mud everywhere etc, but management supplied towels for the doors and this was a savior, just washed them before we left and all was good. A fantastic view from the living areas and verandas. A very quiet location. Well appointed and relaxing. Thank you for the stay.

    From the moment you walk through the door you are meet with the beautiful view of rolling mountains, small fishing harbour an ocean views.The home is set at the top of Crowdy Head so you are looking over the small town.
